Pacis Insurance Company Limited has a board of 9 directors, all of whom are in good public standing. Most of the religious members are on the board to represent the shareholder’s interests as well as to offer advice, along with lay professionals who also offer professional expertise to the management and board, to ensure that the company is run professionally within the laws of the financial industry in Kenya.

Dr. Samuel Kiruthu is the esteemed Chairman of Pacis Insurance, bringing extensive local and international business experience. His background includes pivotal roles in industrial consulting and significant contributions to the leather industry. At Pacis Insurance, Dr. Kiruthu has been instrumental in championing good corporate governance, legal structures, and transparent financial reporting. Additionally, he serves as a Council Member of the Kenya-Nigeria Joint Trade & Investment Council. His active role in promoting good governance extends beyond Pacis Insurance, demonstrating his commitment to ethical and transparent business practices.

Under the Board of Directors we have a strong, qualified and experienced team of Managers. The PACIS team ensures that the correct business management, financial and underwriting principles and practices are applied to ensure that the company goes about its business in the most professional manner. The PACIS management team is made up as follows:

Jean Moegi is the Managing Director of Pacis Insurance, bringing over 16 years of strategic, financial, and operational leadership experience. She has a proven track record in strategic planning, having formulated and successfully implemented Pacis Insurance’s 3-year and 5-year strategic plans. Jean has also championed significant technology and process improvements, including the implementation of an ERP system for financial reporting and internal controls. Her leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic ensured business continuity and staff welfare. With a focus on efficiency, output maximization, and enhanced customer experience, Jean continues to drive PACIS toward its goals.
