Who is the Insurance product for?

The Doctor’s Professional Indemnity Policy covers healthcare professionals (Doctors and Dentists) involved in either private practice or full-time employment licensed by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.

The Coverage

These incidents include:

  3. Cost of disciplinary hearings

Incident Management

In collaboration with Minet Kenya Healthcare Consulting, the policy provides proactive incident management and support to the insured doctor right from the time an incident occurs to the time the matter is resolved. Minet Healthcare will also provide online administrative and customer service support.

Life and Personal Accident Extension

This Doctor’s PI cover is extended to provide a life and accident insurance cover to the individual doctors who buy this solution. The life cover extension pays a fixed lump sum if the doctor dies during the defined cover period. The limit of cover provided is indicated in the table below:
